Dionne Drew

 Senior Safety Coach

Dionne is a highly experienced safety and training professional with over 25 years in the mining, construction, oil and gas industries. Her experience spans many occupations and companies within the industry. This gives her a unique perspective from the ground up. She has been a "boots on the ground" worker, a subcontractor, main contractor and an EPCM and Client representative.

She understands and can relate to the challenges faced in the workplace from a crane operator to an executive. Being exposed to many sites means she has been embedded in the culture and mindset of the leaders and workforce alike. These experiences result in highly effective facilitation and leadership coaching skills which have immediate impact at work fronts where the rubber meets the road and at the highest levels of leadership, teams and management.

Drewie’s professional goal is to see incident and injury-free operations become a statistical reality. She strives to create high trust, low fear environments where every member of a team is free to challenge, intervene and communicate their thoughts to continually improve their workplace culture, show genuine care and concern and to positively influence all aspects of the team dynamics.

PARTICIPANT TESTIMONIAL

“This workshop very cleverly explains human nature and how it affects safety. I believe this course has completely changed my outlook on safety, as ultimately safety is your own responsibility. It has changed the way I manage myself in pressure situations and stopped me getting upset with things I cannot control. The course was excellent...”

"The Care Factor Program has enabled me to be conscious of taking responsibility and understanding the how/what/why my thinking is built on. Also, that to change culture, I must empower others by asking questions and not being afraid to intervene"
